Become a BCEA Member!
The BCEA’s legal name is "British Columbia Extreme Athletics". It first began promoting the sport of Strongman in 2004 and has gone up to support strength athletes from other sports disciplines.
The BCEA has held events in Kamloops, Port Moody, New Westminster, Comox Valley and Hope, British Columbia. Other communities and locations are currently under consideration including competitions and exhibitions to be held in other parts of Canada.
The BCEA offers an Open Membership Policy (see left). It maintains the belief that there is a starting point for each and every strength athlete who is interested in competing. The BCEA provides opportunities to participate in novice competitions to high ranking competitions as the athlete's strength, experience and skill continues to grow.

Senior Mens Division
Our Senior Member division includes seasoned strength athletes who have been part of our organization since its inceptions over seven years ago. They have endured because they have been able to maintain balance in their lives while possessing the drive to play hard. If you have over 5 years of dedicated weight training under your belt, we invite you to join this division of athletes.
